OLYMPIC SCHOLARSHIP TRAINING

PAISAC offers training in applied sports sciences. Sports sciences form the set of theoretical sciences which aim at understanding the different aspects of sports practice.

This training is theoretical and multisport and gives each coach the essential bases for an optimal planning of practices for his athletes. Each participant will thus be able to apply their knowledge to their sport and to the level of their athletes.

CLASSIC TRAINING: open to coaches of an Olympic sport of all levels. The National Olympic Committee (NOC) is able to select the coaches who can apply for a training scholarship offered by Olympic Solidarity.
ADVANCED TRAINING: it is done on selection of PAISAC and acceptance of the NOC among the scholarship holders who have successfully passed the classical level. This training is also funded by a scholarship from Olympic Solidarity.

OUR TRAINING ARE OFFERED IN HYBRID MODE:

– PHASE 1: ONLINE (6 weeks)

– PHASE 2: PRESENTIAL IN MONTREAL (4 weeks)

REGISTRATION: Registration is by selection of the NOC – The registration form is sent to the NOC or on request by the NOC to PAISAC.

– PHASE 1 – Online: April to mid-May (6 weeks)

– PHASE 2 – Face-to-face (Montreal): September 1 to 30 (4 weeks)

English program

Registration deadline August 15 of the current year

– PHASE 1 – Online: November to mid-December (6 weeks)

– PHASE 2 – Face-to-face (Montreal): Mid-May to Mid-June (4 weeks)

The program must be followed in its entirety by each scholarship coach.
However, access to Phase 2 will be subject to the applicant's compliance with the following eligibility criteria:
• Respect of the deadlines established for the delivery of work and homework during phase 1
• Participation and punctuality in all the courses of phase 1
• Active participation during on line courses

When coming to Montreal, the training is enhanced by a tourist visit to the city of Montreal, the city of Quebec City and an official visit to ACE headquarters in Ottawa.

Registration is by selection:
1. PAISAC selects the candidate based on his results at the classical level, his commitment during the training and once back in his country. The NOCs of the selected candidates will receive an invitation for the candidate's registration.
2. The NOC gives its agreement.
